Wesleyan Swept by Huntingdon in GSAC Doubleheader

MACON, Ga. - League-leading Huntingdon College rode a potent offense to a sweep of Wesleyan College in Great South Athletic Conference action at the Mathews Athletic Complex on Sunday afternoon. The Hawks cruised to the victories by scores of 14-2 and 28-0.

Kayla Lumley went 2-for-3 from the leadoff spot in the first game while Lexi Barrett came off the bench in the nightcap to pick up Wesleyan's only hit. Aleah Payne highlighted the Huntingdon day going 9-for-9 with 10 RBI and five triples in the doubleheader.

Wesleyan returns to action on Thursday when they host No. 4 Emory University at the MAC. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 5pm.
