Siebenaler Picks Up Two Hits in Season Finale

LaGRANGE, Ga. - Cheyenne Siebenaler went 2-for-3 in Wesleyan College's 8-0 loss to Huntingdon College at the Great South Athletic Conference Tournament.

With the loss, the Pioneers closed their season while the Hawks advanced in the loser's bracket of the championship.

Third-seeded Huntingdon (16-21-1) scored five runs in the bottom of the third inning to break open the game. Kayla Bratcher squelched any attempt at a Wesleyan (5-26) upset, allowing only four hits in the complete game victory.

Belle Thomas and Brittany Jones each added a hit for the Pioneers and both ended the tournament with a team-best .400 batting average for the two games.
