The win is the fourth straight for Wesleyan (8-11), the second longest win streak in school history. They are just one shy of matching the 1994-95 Pioneer side that won five straight. Junior Lindsay Haggerty matched her career-high with 29 points to lead the way.

Wesleyan used a 13-2 run midway through the second half to turn a four-point disadvantage into a double digit lead.

The Pioneers wrap up the 2011-12 regular season on Wednesday night when they travel to Maryville College. With a win, Wesleyan will clinch the first Great South Athletic Conference tournament berth since joining the league. Should they lose, the Pioneers would need Salem College to defeat Spelman College on Feb. 19 to secure the sixth and final tourney spot.
