Battle Adds to Block Total in Wesleyan Loss

FORT VALLEY, Ga. - NCAA Division II opponent Fort Valley State defeated Wesleyan volleyball in a middle Georgia matchup on Monday.

Freshman La'Joi Battle continued her impressive debut season with three kills and a solo block in the 3-0 loss. Adrianne Woodward and Rebecca Navarre added a pair of kills for the Pioneers (0-3).

Stephanie Brownlee finished with six kills on nine swings for the host Wildcats (1-6) who picked up their first win of the season.

Wesleyan returns to the court next week when they host Point University on September 20. First serve is set for 7:00pm at Porter Gymnasium.
