Strong Second Half Propels Toccoa Falls Past Wesleyan

Macon, Ga. - The Wesleyan College soccer team played even with Toccoa Falls for 53 minutes before the Eagles dialed up their offense and pulled away from the Pioneers during the second half of today's match.  The Eagles would go on to win 4-1.

The lone Pioneer goal came late in the first half when sophomore Stephanie Rarick scored her first goal of the season on a cross from senior Azea Mustafa. 

The Eagles were paced by Danae Martin's two goals, while Wesleyan's Abby Stephens continued to pile up the saves by adding another 11 to her total for the season.

The Pioneers return to action on Monday afternoon when they take on Johnson University .  The game will be played at Covenant College at 5:00pm.
