Wesleyan Soccer Supports American Troops with Letters

The Wesleyan College soccer team is doing their part to say thank you to the men and women serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.  Through a program established by Atlanta radio station Q100's "The Bert Show," the ladies took a few moments to write letters of support, encouragement and gratitude to soldiers deployed abroad.

Dubbed "The Bert Show’s Big Thank You," individuals are asked to write a thank you note that will be sent to every soldier either stationed or deployed outside of the United States.  The letters will be delivered on Thanksgiving Day.  When this project was completed in 2007, more than 375,000 letters were distributed, and this year, they have set a goal to send 400,000.

If you are interested in participating in this effort to thank our troops, please mail your letters to:

The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 28, 2011.  For letter guidelines and regulations, please go to http://thebertshow.com/the-bert-shows-big-thank-you/.
