WESLEYAN BASKETBALL BACK IN ACTION VERSUS LAGRANGE

Wesleyan College returns to the hardwood on Wednesday night when they host LaGrange College at Porter Gymnasium.

The Pioneers (4-15, 0-8 GSAC) look to snap a 19-game Great South Athletic Conference regular season dry spell. The Panthers (12-7, 5-4 GSAC) are battling for the third-seed in the upcoming GSAC Championship with conference rivals Huntingdon and Piedmont. Valerie Williams averages 13.9 points per game to lead four LaGrange hoopsters who average double figures.

After Kassie Epps suffered a leg injury versus Spelman, Wesleyan only had six available players.

In the last meeting between the two, Rachel Hornbostel scored 11 points and added four assists to lead the pace the Pioneers in a 75-49 setback.

Tipoff is scheduled for 6:00pm and admission is free.
